In the realms of cinema, Bhakti Films emerged in 2012 with a grand vision: to become the ultimate transmedia powerhouse in Iberoamerica. We wanted more than just tell stories, we wanted to make a difference through storytelling. With our mantra, “We go beyond,” we embarked on a journey, blissfully unaware that “beyond” was exactly where destiny awaited…

Our second film, One Last Afternoon, ascended to celestial heights, basking in the radiant glow of critical acclaim. Premiering in the Rome Film Festival’s Official Selection, it adorned itself with laurels, graced over 30 international festivals, and sparked conversations that reverberate to this day. And lo and behold, here we stand, on the precipice of unveiling our third, The Most Feared Skin, and fourth, Family Album, cinematic marvels, eagerly anticipating the infinite adventures that lie ahead!

2012
THE CALL TO ADVENTURE
Bhakti Films started an adventure with more twists than a telenovela. We aimed to be Latin America’s storytelling maestros, armed with the bold slogan: ‘We go beyond… and we just can’t stop!’
2014
THRESHOLD OF TRIALS –RESILIENCE
First up, we stumbled upon the wisdom of Resilience. Against all odds, in 2014, our first film, For a Fistful of Hair, was released. It was a commercial flop and we were broke just two years after Bhakti was founded. It was like being hit by a painful plot twist in our own story, but we learned that in the story of life, resilience is the superhero we all need. Highlighted, because we needed it.
2013-2016
MEETING ALLIES – COOPERATION
Our second chapter was like assembling a motley crew. Our second film, One Last Afternoon, found itself selected by the ritzy Rome Film Festival for its grand opening. Red carpet and all. It was a lesson in Cooperation, the ‘Avengers’ of Latin American Art-house films, and yes, it’s highlighted because teamwork truly makes the dream work.
2016-2022
THE ABYSS – PATIENCE
Ah, 2020, the year the world got its own ‘stay-at-home’ movie. Our third film, The Most Feared Skin, plans hit a roadblock, teaching us the art of Patience. Patience, highlighted, because waiting for things to get back to normal was a masterclass in self-awareness.

RETURN WITH THE ELIXIR – PURPOSE
Now, on the cusp of releasing our third, The Most Feared Skin, and fourth Family Album films, we’re buzzing with excitement. Our creative pipeline is like a garden in full bloom, each idea blooming with Purpose. Yes, highlighted because Purpose is what ignites us.
